Amanda Palacios is a Visual Artist from Hawthorne, NJ/Manhattan, NYC
area, holding her BFA from The College of New Jersey, class of 2017. She developed a knack for drawing at a very young age, and continued this practice throughout college. While enrolled in the Fine Arts program during
college, Palacios garnered a further interest in illustrating. She then participated in the School of Visual Arts summer of 2018 Illustration Residency program.
Now working as an Art (STEAM) Instructor for elementary after-school programs, she also spends extra time freelancing, primarily focusing on creating scenes based on various aspects of identity, and learning further about design.
When she is not focusing on art, she enjoys sipping on a good Macchiato, watching movies, actively studying Psychology, and kickboxing.
