I am a Visual Artist from NJ/Manhattan, NYC, currently residing in Washington DC. I have my BFA in Visual Arts and Art History from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ), class of 2017. I developed a knack for drawing at a very young age and continued this practice throughout college. While enrolled in the Fine Arts program at TCNJ, I garnered a further interest in illustrating. Following graduation, I participated in the School of Visual Arts summer of 2018 Illustration Residency program. I am an MSW graduate of Rutgers University- Newark, class of 2022.

When I'm not illustrating, I enjoy traveling around the world, sipping on coffee, watching movies, boxing, and implementing art therapeutic techniques in my counseling work.

Purple Girl Paints is named in honor of the late sweet, spoiled, 13-year-old family Border Terrier, Dani.
